Club Run Report:

There was no Official Club Run to report on for the month of April.  However there were some members that ventured off into the Rain and didn’t get washed away.  Tony and family went to Hollister OHV.  It was way to wet and nasty to get out and play.  They stayed in camp the whole time.  Mike went to Stonyford with a bunch of friends to go 2 wheeling on the trails and fire roads. They had a great time. Everyone else in the club I am sure was just trying to survive all the rain we experienced last month. Is it ever going to stop?

Blood run:

Jeff is looking for anyone that would like to join him on May 19th at the Blood Bank for donations. Jeff promises that they are so gentle you never even feel the needle.

Adopt-A-Trail / Conservation:

In case you haven’t noticed it has been a little to wet to check out the trails and see what needs to be done.  The BLM workday at Cow Mountain was put off until sometime in October.  The Cal 4 Wheel office is in need of some “clean up” work, if any one would like to help out please contact Greg Mazzetta for more information. Greg Hale has informed us that due to his increasing work schedule, he must step down from the Adopt-A-Trail/Conservation position. If there is anyone in the club that would like to take on this position please step forward.

A Sad Good bye:

After 25 years of membership, Clay and Gail Rodgers have resigned from The Santa Rosa 4x4’s. Thanks to Clay and Gail for all their efforts towards the club over the years.

Annual Dues:

Dues are due and payable at or before the June meeting. $65.00 total for SR4X4 & CA4WDC. If your dues are not paid in full your membership will expire and you will be removed from the Club membership list. You can mail your dues to Tony prior to the June meeting, or have them available at the June meeting.  Please try to remember.

And the winners are….

After many long hours of checking the tally sheets and recounting everything the results are finally in. Please send out your warmest welcomes and best wishes to the new 2003-2004 Santa Rosa 4x4 Club Officers and Board Of Directors.

Installation Dinner:

This year The Santa Rosa 4x4’s have decided to hold an Installation Dinner rather than a Camp out event.  Initial plans have been set to hold this Dinner at The Washoe House on May 30th at 7pm. Alan will be calling to confirm that the date is available and what the menu options are. Club members will be contacted with the confirmation date and be asked to choose their option for dinner. Guests and prospective members are invited as well.  Lets all try to be available for this dinner event and show our support for the New 2003-2004 Club Officers and Board Members.
