Club Run Report:

The Rubicon trail was the club run for last month.  Pete was the run master. Eric in his CJ-5 and Pete in his Tacoma as well as a few more guests were on this run.  The run seemed to be very un eventful.  There were no breakdowns, and there were no mentions of winching or tow strap being used (at least not brought up at the meeting) I did over hear that someone in a white Toyota 4 door Tacoma that claimed to be run master had to have a strap connected to assist his vehicle in forward progress.  But this was only hear say after the meeting was over.  I am sure that if this was really true this person would have mentioned it at the meeting and contributed to the tow fund.  We will have to wait until next meeting and see if this really was true and we have a confession of truth about needing the strap.  Did anyone else hear this? Or actually see it happen?  It was excellent weather and all had a great time.

Other runs last month included a trip to Fordyce Creek.  Jim lead this run and it seems that there were problems before the trail started. Ok, I guess what really happened was the Cow Bell Fairy waited until Jim had checked over everything to be sure nothing was missing and then took Jims spare tire for his trailer and hid it. After that The Fairy decided to put his magical powers to work and caused Jim to have a flat on his trailer.  With Jim shocked after noticing his spare was missing, he did the only thing he knew would work…He called his Dad to the rescue!  Jims Dad was nice enough to actually bring him a spare that looked a lot like his original spare that seemed to be found in the same place that Jim remembers leaving it. After that all had a great time

Other News:

Darrell had to give up his duties of Vice President since he is now taking Paramedic training classes that conflict with our meeting dates. The club voted Peter Parks as the new Vice President, and filling the empty spot on the BOD, Jen Lillund stepped up. Please welcome both into their new higher positions in our Club

Printed Shirts were a topic of discussion at our meeting, we will have more final quotes next month and make a decision what shirts we will be getting.

There will be a BOD meeting on Thursday the 25th at 6:30pm Jim will contact us with a location prior to that date

Cow Bell:

The club felt that the Cow Bell Fairy did a great job on Jim this month about his flat with no spare in sight. Look for Jim (or listen for the bell) at Barrett Lake in a couple weeks

Raffle:

Corey won our monthly lottery of $1.4M, or was it only $14.00?

I didn’t hear the final total count.
