Alan filled in as Run Master for March when Greg had to cancel his run. Alan scheduled a run up to Cow Mountain. A group of 4 rigs met at Coddingtown on Saturday morning. Alan in his CJ5, Jeff in his Big Ford, Corey in his Cherokee, and a guest in his Toyota 4 Runner all left together and arrived safely at the main staging area. Soon after they arrived, Donnie drove up in his CJ-5 from the Lakeport side. A quick briefing of the day was made and vehicles were safety checked. Jeff was lead followed by Corey, the Guest, Donnie and Alan was Drag. Warm up was the first hill climb. After working through the mud pit at the bottom, the trail was nice and there was a mud pit at the top also. We headed out towards Benmore loop, turned onto Boundary ridge trail, and ate lunch on top of a huge rock over looking the whole valley. The weather was fair, a little chilly at times but rain was holding off. At the second creek crossing some guy dumped his bike in the water. Not able to get it started Jeff said he would help him get his bike back to his camp. The guy rode the rest of the afternoon with Jeff. Back at the main road Donnie and the 4 Runner left out the Lakeport side. The others got the bike back to his camp and headed home from the Ukiah side. All in all it was a great day, very little drizzle, and no problems the whole day. Everyone that went had a great time. Hope more of you can make it on the next club run.
Alan, Jeff, and Debra were the only ones that gave blood this month. There is no date as of this time for the Blood Run.
There
was a work day scheduled at Cow Mountain for April 12th but due to rain it was canceled.
There
is no official club run in April

Help!!!
I just broke my U-Joint, Do you have a spare?
What do you bring when you go Off-Road?
Do you bring just what is required in our safety checklist? Or do you bring
enough spare parts to open your own Off-Road repair shop?
Send me your list. The largest list will
be published next month. Others may get ideas to expand what items they have
been bringing and add some things that may help them out Off-Road.
